So, I used to talk smack on digital techniques that emulate film or film techniques. However, since my bank account doesn't quite allow me to purchase a large format camera, I gave in and played around with the infamous Brenizer method.
Below is the full resolution image, after cropping. 11272x9018 = 101.65 -> 102 megapixels. Ultimately, the image should show some of the qualities of a large format camera wide angle shot fairly wide open.
This is one of my first successful images using this method. I'm never patient enough to do panoramas but finally I sucked it up and took my time and am happy with the result. Go out and give it a shot some time and see what you come up with!
